Rob is a musician and works as a composer, arranger, musical director and vocal coach.
Recent theatre MD credits include: The Addams Family (Swinburne Hall), The Wall (Mercury Theatre), Godspell (Lakeside Theatre), Ragtime (Kenneth More Theatre) and The Full Monty (Queen’s Theatre).
As Musical Director and vocal arranger, Rob’s work has most recently been heard in West End venues including St James Theatre, Leicester Square Theatre and The Arts Theatre, in addition to on-board London’s celebrated cabaret venue, The Battersea Barge and at the Brighton Fringe Festival. He has worked as MD on touring productions across the UK and also conducts orchestras and choirs.
Rob established, and now runs, his own prestigious vocal ensemble in addition to holding a senior residency at Birmingham School of Acting where he is Head of Singing. He also runs his private vocal practice, training and coaching clients for stage and television productions. Previously, Rob was the MD and singing specialist for Ruthie Henshall’s stage school based in Essex.
As a composer, he has written original material for Sky Television and Paramount Comedy and has had work premiered at several leading venues, including Covent Garden Opera House.
